2) If I was the average American, I would spend 105 miles driving to work and 105 driving home from work in one week. I know this by doing 15miles x 7days a week. Although I would only work 5 out of the 7 days, the 2 days on the weekend would use up gas for going to the grocery store, mall, movies, etc. This would use about 150 extra miles. So my total miles driven in 1 week would be around 360 miles. (105+105+150)
3) mpg:25 local gas price(p): $2.79 at Sheetz
equation: 350/25 x 2.79=t
solution: $39.06 is how much I will spend on gas in one week
*BONUS*
Can you make an equation for how much you spend on gas in one month?
equation: (350 x 4)/mpg x p=t
mpg= miles per gallon p= local gas price t= total cost
(350 x 4)/25 x 2.79=t
Using this equation, my total amount of money spent on gas in one month would be $156.24
Originally I chose a hybrid car and I would definitely stick with it!

Great job with the equations! I hope you do get a hybrid when you grow up :)
